Личные местоимения (I, you, he, she, it, we, they) - используются в качестве подлежащего в предложении.
- I love playing soccer.
- You are my best friend.
- He is very tall.
- She likes to read.
- It is a beautiful day.
- We are going to the beach.
- They live in New York.
Объектные местоимения (me, you, him, her, it, us, them) - используются в качестве объекта на который направлено действие.
- She called me last night.
- I will help you with your homework.
- The teacher gave him a book.
- Tom invited her to the party.
- The dog followed it home.
- Our parents took us to the park.
- The coach spoke to them after the game.
Притяжательные зависимые местоимения (my, your, his, her, its, our, their) - показывают кому принадлежит предмет и ставятся перед существительным.
- This is my car.
- Is that your jacket?
- That is his pen.
- She lost her keys.
- The dog wagged its tail.
- We love our new house.
- They are enjoying their vacation.
Притяжательные абсолютные местоимения (mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, theirs) - показывают кому принадлежит предмет и заменяют существительное.
- This book is mine.
- That phone is yours.
- The blue jacket is his.
- The red bag is hers.
- The big house is ours.
- These seats are theirs.
"Its" vs. "It’s"
Its = притяжательное местоимение (The cat licked its paw.)
It’s = "It is" (It’s a beautiful day.)
